Behind the MIND
Andreas Prieler knows transactions from more than the advisor’s side: at Finmatics GmbH, he supported the CFO in preparing key financial materials for one of Austria’s largest tech exits of 2025 – from data validation and KPI preparation to transaction analyses. He now brings this company-side perspective to MIND’s transaction team as a Junior Analyst, contributing to valuations, financial models and transaction materials.
His foundation lies in accounting and tax: at PwC Austria, he prepared financial statements and tax returns for domestic and multinational companies, and at Gandler Steuerberatung he managed a portfolio of more than 20 SME clients. There, he also introduced an AI-based invoicing tool that cut manual processing time by more than 70 percent. He demonstrated the same sense for efficient processes at Finmatics, where he helped shape the financial integration of several entities following a merger.
Academically, Andreas ranks in the top five percent of his cohort at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, is a member of the WU Top League honors program, and broadened his horizons with an exchange semester at Singapore Management University. As a native speaker of German and Hungarian, fluent in English and with a working knowledge of French, he moves confidently in international processes. His ability to convince people showed early on: as a fundraiser for Amnesty International and WWF, he ranked among the top five percent.
