At MIND, Michael von der Heydt serves as an experienced Senior Banker, embodying and shaping the firm’s distinctive dealmaking DNA through his entrepreneurial mindset. With more than three decades of investment banking experience at leading institutions including Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Deutsche Bank, he brings exceptional transactional expertise and strategic foresight to every mandate.
His passion lies in advising family-owned businesses on sell- and buy-side processes, mergers, partnerships, growth financings, as well as succession planning and mediation — always with analytical precision, empathy, and a strong results orientation.
An active start-up investor and business development manager since 2010, he combines institutional excellence with entrepreneurial pragmatism. A graduate of Harvard Business School, varsity football player at the University of Georgia, and former member of the German national judo team, he remains a disciplined team player with strong personal values — both at and beyond the negotiation table.
